Pei-Lee The research interests cover Management Information Systems, Technology Management and Gerontechnology, Innovation and Learning. She is the lead researcher in the Gerontechnology Lab（老人福祉实验室）in Monash. The Gerontechnology Lab seeks to play an important role to translate research into new products and also shape public policy. Research findings conducted in the Lab will provide in-depth and comprehensive insights into the real needs of the older adults, design age-friendly products and services, and promote an active and independent lifestyle for the elderly.

The core of Gerontechnology focus on the impact of technology within five domains of human activity: (1) Health and self-esteem (i.e., technology supporting physical, cognitive and emotional functioning of older people); (2) Housing and daily living (i.e. technology supporting independence, convenience and safety of daily activities among the older people); (3) Mobility and transport (i.e. technology supporting personal mobility of older people); (4) Communication and governance ( i.e. technology supporting societal cohesion, the use of internet, mobile phone, etc. ); and (5) work and leisure( i.e. technology supporting old people to continue their work and perform educational and recreational activities);
